Camel lobster

This is my animal that I made. Using Build-A-Beast. My animals name is... CAMEL LOBSTER!!

My animal is half camel and half lobster. Its called that because it is half of the name!. It is really cool, to see to different animals together.

My camel is from North Africa and the Middle East, or in Central Asia. My camel eats grass, grains, wheat and oats. They will also eat dried leaves, seeds, and thorny twigs (without hurting their mouths). My lobster lives in all oceans, on rocky, sandy, or muddy bottoms from the shoreline to beyond the edge of the continental shelf. They generally live singly in crevices or in burrows under rocks. It also eats fish, clams, mussels, crabs, sea urchins and sometimes even other LOBSTERS!!

Camels have many adaptations that allow them to live successfully in desert conditions. Deserts are hot and dry. Winds blow sand all around, so a camel has long eyelashes. It has nostrils that can open and close. Lobster include the ability to shed their exoskeleton, compound eyes, dark colouring, claws designed for different tasks and a heightened sense of smell and taste. The lobster's ability to shed its outer skin through a process called molting allows the animal to regenerate lost limbs.

I think my animal would be cool and funny. But my I don't know how they will live. Because my lobster lives, in the sea. My camel lives in the desert and other places.

This is it.

  1. Hi Mia. We really enjoyed your post about Camel Lobster. We can tell you put in a lot of effort and creativity. The information was very interesting, we learned a lot about camels and lobsters. We would like to know what the learning behind your task was?
